The Brickhouse Cafe: Knockout Meals From an Ex-Prize Fighter

July 3, 2014 | greystar

Ex-prize fighter and Massachusetts native Vinny Marino invites the people of Dedham to “come to my house” and enjoy the Italian fare at The Brickhouse Cafe. The extensive menu features classic recipes; expect pizza, pasta, and entrees, like herb grilled salmon or a Caesar salad that's drizzled with housemade Caesar dressing and served in an edible bread bowl. The pizzas come from a recipe that traces back several generations. During Saturday and Sunday mornings, the restaurant starts the day with a breakfast and lunch menu with items from the griddle and a number of sandwiches and casseroles.

Established in 2005, The Brickhouse Cafe stays true to its name, literally residing in a brick house. The restaurant has street parking on either side of the building. While walk-ins are welcome, Brickhouse recommends making reservations, especially for large parties and during busy hours.
