Coffy Café: A Neighborhood Coffee Shop

The place is decorated to promote conversation, so it’s a perfect spot to just hang out with friends. Kangaroo Boxing Club: A Great Night Out

Located at the corner of 11th Street and Park Road in Columbia Heights, the Kangaroo Boxing Club is named after a bar bet, so you know it’s going to be fun! The bar and dining area is a little small, but that just means that you’ll have to be close to everyone you know, and make some new friends. The bar features some nice beers on tap, a selection of wines and specialty drinks that will blow you away. You’ll definitely make this one of your happy hour stops! And the menu has classic American dishes, as well as some of the best barbeque in the DC area. Night owls will like the late night kitchen hours on Friday and Saturday. And the Sunday brunch is pretty good, too!
