There are old fashioned pavilions dotting the park’s grounds, which are always decorated with twinkling lights around the holidays. The running and walking trails are well maintained and perfect for nice, long runs outdoors, but they’re also smooth enough for a relaxing stroll with friends or your little ones.

Kids will love Walnut Park’s playground area, which is filled with climbing equipment and swing sets for children of all ages, while parents will enjoy the numerous benches nearby that make it easy to keep an eye on your kids while they play. Space Center Houston: Blast Off Into Hours of Educational Fun

For outer space enthusiasts young and old, there might not be a greater experience than visiting Space Center Houston. Since 1992, Space Center Houston has been one of the top attractions in the city, drawing more than 16 million visitors to its unique, educational complex.

This fun-filled attraction makes learning about space fun and realistic through its 250 space artifacts, state-of-the-art theaters, and interactive exhibits that offer a way to experience the thrill of outer space. There are a number of permanent and traveling exhibits scattered throughout the 183,000-square-foot facility, including a full-scale replica of a real space shuttle and the "Living in Space" exhibit, which offers a glimpse of life on the International Space Station.

Special events like "Meet an Astronaut Fridays" and "Lunch With an Astronaut" enable visitors to chat about space travel with real life astronauts, while the NASA Tram Tour takes you on a tour around the grounds of the impressive Johnson Space Center.

Main Event: From Laser Tag Arena to Indoor Ropes Course

Other bowling alleys, laser tag arenas, and mini golf courses can't hold a candle to Webster's Main Event, regulars say. That's because this family fun center doesn't just have one of these kid-friendly attractions—it has all of them. Bring along your entire brood and play a round of laser tag in Main Event's decked-out obstacle course, complete with secret passageways, glowing arches, and creeping fog. There's also a bowling alley, brought into the modern era by screens over the lanes and soft colored lighting.

Mini golf, karaoke, and arcade games are all available at Main Event, as well, but perhaps the most unique attraction? The Gravity Ropes. Perhaps more aptly described as an indoor ropes course, the Gravity Ropes give kids a chance to test their agility as they're hoisted aloft. The midair obstacle course features all necessary safety precautions, but that shouldn't detract from the thrill as you or your child scramble across rope bridges and climb various other structures.

This cafe was opened by a pair of college friends who believed that the diverse tastes of Texas diners would support a new kind of sweet shop, and Baloch's popularity has proven them to be correct.

Diners interested in trying something new will find a wide selection of delicious tastes waiting for them here. The falooda is a popular choice. This traditional dessert is made with rose syrup, vermicelli, basil seeds and tapioca pearls and then flavored with milk and ice cream with fresh fruit. Also tasty are the golas, shaved ices served with fresh fruit. The mango lassi is delicious, as well.

Union Tavern: Your Friendly Neighborhood Bar in Webster

There’s nothing better than having a go-to neighborhood bar right near your home, and Union Tavern is that place for many Webster residents.
