Joseph Ambler Inn: A Historic Setting for Elegant Dining
The Joseph Ambler Inn is made up of five historic buildings that date all the way back to 1711, and were used as a farmhouse and several cottages! Today the buildings house a 52-room luxury inn, and an award-winning restaurant that has been a recipient of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence since 1995. Exuding a cozy ambiance complete with handcrafted cherry tables and original stone walls, the restaurant features the finest quality in fresh meats, fish, and produce, as well as seasonal herbs and vegetables. Each dish the restaurant offers is unique and filled with flavor. Appetizers include juicy veal meatballs and sizzling lobster stuffed clams; feature entrees are highlighted by pan roasted Chilean sea bass, a 12 ounce dry aged New York strip steak, and grilled New Zealand salmon with lobster soba noodles. Dinner is served seven days a week, and reservations are suggested.
