Fresh, in-season produce, local dairy products, eggs, meats, poultry, homemade spreads, preserves and pies – in short, Maple Acres Farm is the place to stock up on super healthy food in a friendly, fun environment right in Plymouth Meeting. Fresh flowers are on hand – buy them already picked or pick your own zinnias from their giant field of flowers. It’s a fun activity to share with the kids, so be sure to bring a camera. A small array of crafts for sale includes bird baths, baskets and yard art. Stop in for special events like autumn hay rides, strawberry picking, a pumpkin festival and monthly farm tours where you get a behind the scenes look at the animals who live on the farm, plus planting, composting and harvesting. Maple Acres Farm is open Mondays through Sundays from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.

This no-frills little deli reportedly serves some of the most gigantic, hunger-crushing sandwiches in all of Plymouth Meeting. Head to Fat Daddy's Deli to combat your hunger with a monster like the Fat Daddy with chicken cheese steak, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, hot peppers, mayo and ketchup, all laid out on an enormous hoagie roll. Then again, there’s the Roast Pork Italian with provolone, broccoli rabe and roasted hot peppers that’s sure to satisfy your hunger. Other sandwiches include the Cheese Steak Hoagie, Corned Beef, Ham, Chicken Cheese Steak, Turkey and Tuna Salad. Sandwiches can be ordered in mini, half or whole sizes. Burgers and hot dogs are also on the menu, as are some tasty sides like macaroni salad, cheese fries, potato salad and French fries.
