The Colonial Theatre harkens back to the days when the cinema was a magical experience for viewers. A good mix of newly released and classic films is rounded out by a decent number of live events. In addition to showing features, The Colonial’s classic and cult film selections allow viewers to see movies on the big screen that they have missed on the first time around. Some movies are meant to be experienced this way and The Colonial makes that possible. The snack prices are beyond reasonable as well. Forget that sticker shock one feels at a big chain cinema where a tub of popcorn and a soda can cost as much as a three course meal.
