A local favorite by many, Thai O Cha is an all-you-can-eat Thai buffet with a strong reputation for delicious dishes at affordable prices. The buffet has a number of choices available, but the Pad Woonsen, Red Curry, and Crispy Catfish come highly recommended. Don't skip the cucumber soup!

Prefer to order a la carte? The menu lists a variety of options as far as rolls, soups, and salads go. You can't go wrong with some spring rolls or the house special wings, ribs, or beef jerky! The crispy shrimp panang or gang dang will leave your mouth burning with just right amount of kick.

If you like Thai and seafood, you have got to check out Noy's Bistro in Universal City. This restaurant and wine bar has been serving the community for years—and with rave reviews!

Your standard appetizer fare tops the menu, so make sure to put your order of rolls and dumplings in right away. For your main dish, consider Thai curry or stir fry. A number of meat and rice options are available, too, as well as some delicious noodle-based dishes, like the traditional pad Thai. Adventurous sorts will love the seafood specials they have available, like the crispy basil duck and sushi. (Note that sushi isn't served on Mondays or Tuesdays.)

The outside might not look like much, but the interior of Noy's Bistro is fresh and modern. The dining area is softly lit with an abundance of tables and comfortable dark wooden chairs.

La Cabana: Stop By This Cibolo Eatery for Mexican Fare and Margs

La Cabana is a well-known Mexican restaurant in the Universal City area that is perfect for a casual lunch or dinner out. While it doesn’t serve the usual Tex-Mex fare that many similar nearby eateries offer, it does boast a large selection of Mexican-American dishes, like tacos, enchiladas, and fajitas.

While many local residents consider this a great lunch or dinner option, La Cabana also offers an impressive full bar that creates zany cocktails, such as the slushy margaritas with an ice-cold beer bottle tipped inside.
