The Big Four Bridge is one of the most beloved manifestations of Louisville's bicycle-friendly mentality. This brand new pedestrian bridge is meant for walkers and bikers alike, and it connects one end of Kentucky to one end of Indiana without any roads or highways.

Visitors to the bridge get a stunning view of the riverfront and downtown Louisville’s ever-growing skyline, all while traveling in a safe, contained environment. You’ll find a number of people running for exercise, taking a leisurely stroll, or biking to get from point A to point B at just about any time of the day, but despite its occasional crowds, the Big Four Bridge is a fun and convenient way to get around Louisville.

Muhammad Ali Center: More than a Museum

The Muhammad Ali Center is a multicultural center and museum dedicated to the great boxer and humanitarian. This interactive museum has a permanent exhibit focussing on the life, experiences and contributions of Ali.

The museum uses video, images, artifacts and various multimedia presentations that draw in enthusiastic visitors. The changing exhibits have included a wide range of themes including displays on Motown as well as photography exhibitions and more. This Louisville museum also offers educational programming, a film series and gallery talks.

Revelry Gallery: Locally-Made Gifts Meet Unique Artwork in Louisville

Cherokee Park: 389 Acres of Green Space in Louisville

Louisville's Cherokee Park is a 389-acre urban gem featuring a 2.4-mile scenic loop for walkers and cyclists amid grassy meadows, wooded areas, and rolling hills—all within a stone's throw of downtown. You'll also find more rugged trails suitable for horseback riding and mountain biking, as well as several smaller walking paths. Sports enthusiasts will enjoy the tennis courts, soccer field, and archery range, while bird lovers will want to spend time at the Nettleroth Bird Sanctuary.

You'll find picnic tables and grills scattered throughout the park so that everyone can take a relaxing break from their activities and enjoy a meal together. Louisville residents take pride in the fact that Cherokee Park was designed by the internationally-known landscape architect Frederick Law Olmstead, who also designed New York City's Central Park.

The Alley Theatre: An Untraditional Experience in Louisville
