Reel In Delicious Japanese and Thai Cuisine at Passion Fin

When you’re looking for some fresh fish in Ashburn, come to Passion Fin Asian Bistro and Sushi. This quaint spot in the Goose Creek Village Retail Center is known for its pretty plates and first rate products.

At the sushi bar, talented chefs artfully create a variety of traditional sushi, sashimi, and specialty rolls. (The Temptation Roll of chicken and crab is a favorite among regulars.) The lunch specials with miso soup or a house salad are a good deal, too, offered on weekdays between 11:30 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. The dinner menu includes both Japanese and Thai entrees from the kitchen. Pair your meal with a cold beer, glass of wine, or a specialty cocktail from the bar. A selection of hot and cold sake is also offered.

Passion Fin is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturdays, noon to 11 p.m.; and Sundays, noon to 9 p.m.

Flock to Pho Bistro for Flavorful Vietnamese Fare in a Friendly Setting

You'll find authentic Vietnamese cuisine at Pho Bistro. Here, the focus is on healthy Vietnamese fare that's made-to-order with premium, additive-free ingredients.

House specialties include pad Thai and the seafood crepe, but many people flock here for the pho, a flavorful noodle soup loaded with vegetables and your choice of protein. In fact, pho here is served with a never-ending supply of lime, basil, bean sprouts, and jalapeno peppers, all of which are the perfect complement to the dish's savory broth. The V Eatery and Brew House: Trendy Food and Drinks

The V Eatery and Brew House, which opened in the fall of 2012, seeks to be more than just a bar/restaurant. With an outdoor dining area featuring fire pits and cabanas and a tented outdoor live music venue, Vibe, this spot has a trendy feel – a place to see and be seen. The craft beer selection (including Merry Monks and Left Hand Wake Up Dead on tap) and cocktail menu was created to complement the menu, which is best described as approachable with a twist. The butternut risotto is a popular item, as is the fall-off-the-bone pork chops with mustard sauce.

This Ashburn restaurant has happy hour from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through  Friday, which is calls Cocktails and Conversations, with food and drink specials. Some items include the chicken chipotle wrap, grilled cheese sandwich and bacon cheese fries, with $2 craft beers,  $4 select glasses of wine and specialty martinis for $5, including the spicy mangotini and the peach creepertini.

The V's hours are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday.
