Catch a Show at the Historic KiMo Theatre in Albuquerque
No plans for the weekend? Why not grab a bite to eat downtown, then catch a show at the KiMo Theatre? The KiMo is probably unlike any theater you've seen before. From the outside-in, this cinema and performing arts venue is decorated with authentic Pueblo-Deco, which is really quite something to look at. The theater dates back to the 1920s, but it has been restored and upgraded to beautiful results. You'll feel the history when you walk in the door.
Beyond the scenery in the architecture, you'll find something to appreciate about the entertainment hosted at the KiMo. They have acts of all kinds come through the stage flanks, creating a unique atmosphere of music, comedy, and drama that will keep you coming back to see more. Expect performances from stand-up comedians and local musicians, as well as showings of classic film to give you a once-in-a-lifetime theater experience.
