Tucano’s Brazilian Grill: A Carnivore’s Delight

Following in the tradition of the Brazilian churrasco where huge skewers of meat are roasted over an open fire, Tucano’s Brazilian Grill is a carnivore’s delight not far from Broadstone Towne Center in Albuquerque. After you heap your plate at the gigantic ‘salad festival’, waiters bring an assortment of sizzling seasoned meats to your table, slicing them onto your plate. A card placed on your table allows you to signal when you’re ready for more meat –green side up means yes, red side up, no. The ‘salad festival’ can serve as a meal in itself, with beans, rice, pastas, soups, stroganoff and bread, so vegetarians can forgo the meat and still get satisfied. Tuscano's prices range from $13.95 for lunch to $20.95 for dinner.

Giovanni’s Pizzeria: New York Style Pie in Albuquerque

New York style super-thin crust is part of their secret, slender enough to be crunchy, with just a hint of a chewy center. Sadie’s Dining Room: Spicy Mexican Fare

Sadie's Dining Room is serving authentic Mexican food to Albuquerque. Be warned, the food is spicy. If you like spice you are in for a treat. Start your meal with the complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa packs a little heat, getting you ready for your meal. Come hungry, the portions are huge. Diners say it's not uncommon to enjoy your meal for the next two to three days. All dinner options come to red or green Chile for you to smother over your entree. Try the marinated pork, beef brisket, or chili relleno. Get the combination platter to sample more of the menu. A meal at Sadie's isn't expensive but it's not cheap but for the amount of food and great service you're getting it's money well spent.

The burritos are very popular coming in a variety of flavors like Carne Adovada, Vegetarian, and Frontier with beef. Hamburgers, sandwiches, steaks, and salads are also available. Soda machines are scattered around the restaurant with over 100 different types of drinks. Even when Frontier is busy the staff is efficient and helpful. Open from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. every day.
