Oakland's 8th annual Eat Real Festival (ERF) is scheduled on Sept. 23-25, 2016. This is the East Bay's sister event to SF's Streetfood Festival in August.

Sunday 9/25 @10:30am-5pm

ERF is your once a year chance to sample local street food, gourmet food trucks, artisan food vendors, including local beers and wines, all in one spot. Eating is just half the fun, you can boost your food IQ, attend food prep and cooking demonstrations, or participate in one of the many hands-on workshops.

Sample tasty artisan foods and drinks (for $8 or less) + learn cooking skills from talented professionals + enjoy live music performances + beautiful waterfront views at Jack London Square = a fun 3 day weekend!!

Public transportation directions: Get off at BART 12th Street Oakland station and walk down Broadway street, south bound towards the bay (9 blocks). Be careful – watch out for speeding cars while crossing the street, specially as you walk under HWY 880.

First timers, don't forget to bring sunglasses, hat, and sun lotion.
