Turn a New Page at the Laredo Public Library

July 12, 2016 | capstone

Laredo Public Library is more than just your local library. It's a community-focused center of learning, support, and assistance for area residents of all ages. Along with offering a large circulating collection of fiction and nonfiction books, DVDs, research materials, and more, Laredo Public Library provides homework help during the school year, as well as assistance with summer reading lists from June through August. Stop in and use one of the 30 computers, free Wi-Fi, printers, copiers, and other resources.

Special programs and events are available to the community, such as Indoor Play, Lego Camps, Movie Day, and All Star Readers, where children are able to partake in story times, crafts, and snacks. Also during the summer months, the library partners with Laredo Independent School District to provide free healthy meals to all children under the age of 18. Visit the website to learn more about what the Laredo Public Library is doing for the community.
