A Day to Celebrate Rohnert Park!

The 2013 City of Rohnert Park’s Founder’s Day Celebration is on Saturday, September 21, 2013. The day consists of a 5K run, Parade at 10 a.m. and Festival at 11 a.m. Last year had more than 15,000 participants! The .7 mile parade route begins at Lawrence E. Jones Middle School at 5154 Snyder Lane, and ends at Rancho Cotate High School at 5450 Snyder Lane in Rohnert Park. It will include grand marshals, elected officials, Rancho Cotate High homecoming candidates, marching bands, live music, specialty vehicles, local businesses, community groups, leaders and founders, equestrian entries, and more! The festival starts at 11:30 a.m. at the Rohnert Park Community Center Complex at 5401 Snyder Lane. Don’t miss out on Kids Games, Food, Beer, Wine, Arts & Crafts, a Talent Show, Mr. Lucky Legs Contest, Tri-Cycle, and Bed Races.
