August 3, 2016 | sack

Dionysus Dash Napa is a 5K run/walk through the beautiful vineyards of Napa Valley’s Hess Winery. Named after Dionysus, the Greek God of Wine, this event welcomes wine lovers and aficionados to take a trip out to the vineyard this Sunday, August 14 for a special wine run.
Dionysus Dash Napa is fit for both novice and avid runners, wine tasters, and walkers alike. The event will feature wine tasting, music, and awards for the runners. Everyone is encouraged to bring their own togas and Greek head pieces to wear during the run, but be sure to put on sneakers for the trail run!
The winery gates open at approximately 6:15 a.m., and the party doesn’t stop for five straight hours. All ages are welcome to attend and participate in the race; however, wine tastings and awards will only be given to participants 21 years of age and older. Registration includes a T-shirt, a stemless wine glass and goodie bag at finish line, and four wine tastings.
