October 16, 2017 | sack

Hana Japanese Restaurant in Rohnert Park offers an extensive sake and sushi selection along with a modern take on Japanese cuisine. Chef Ken Tominaga showcases authentic drink, food, and culture of his homeland, Tokyo Bay, as well as a subtle taste of Northern California. The eatery also has a sake sommelier, Danny Pitassy, to help answer questions about sake and make it more fun and accessible. Hana specializes in fish, priding itself on importing their fish from Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo, such as their grilled black cod, all natural salmon, and pan seared scallops.

Locals flock to Hana for their classic sushi, sashimi, and nigiri menu offerings. Try Ken’s Roll made with spicy tuna, prawn tempura, avocado, pine nuts, and tobiko. Another favorite is Hana Maki consisting of tuna, yellowtail, salmon, and tobiko. Hana Japanese Restaurant offers plenty of parking and is open for lunch and dinner daily.
