When you enter the shop you'll find yourself facing a row of big glass display cases, and if you arrive early in the day you'll find those cases jam-packed with scrumptious treats (regulars warn against visiting this place late in the day if you have your heart set on a particular pastry, as the most popular items sell out quickly). The kitchen specializes in Portuguese baking, which means you can choose an order of delicate flan in your choice of chocolate or vanilla-coconut, a light and airy cavacas (similar to a popover, topped with a sugary glaze), or many other Portuguese treats on display.
