These farms are the source of ingredients for chefs at Stax, which is why you can always expect a fresh meal at this Cotati eatery. You should bring along a group to enjoy the feast, though, because Stax only deals in tasting meals with "stackable" mains and sides.

Since Stax opened in April, just about two miles from Crossbrook, fans have already formed opinions about their favorite feasts. The Low Country comes out on top. It encompasses three entrees—pork rillettes, shaved catfish in lemon-laced cornmeal batter, and crispy country ham—with a slew of sides. Red grit corn cakes, mustard greens, and pickled peaches are among them, not to mention several sauces for dipping.
