Having opened in November about two miles away from Elan East, Dog and Duck Pub serves traditional British pub fare alongside a wide variety of brews. Dog and Duck Pub initially opened in 1990 and has a string of “Best in Austin” awards to its name, but it recently relocated to this new spot. The pub’s updated menu offers delicious dishes like fish and chips, bangers and mash, and burgers and salads, as well as bar food staples like French fries and onion rings. There are 33 beers on tap daily, ensuring that you’ll find one you like.
As the name suggests, Dog and Duck Pub is dog-friendly, so bring your pup along and you’ll be seated on the sun-soaked side patio. There’s plenty of seating inside this cozy spot, too. Dog and Duck Pub has parking behind the building, and there’s also street parking available. The warm and welcoming atmosphere makes it a great addition to the neighborhood.
