An event held every month, the Free First Sunday invites museum visitors to Travel Across Texas via a series of historical exhibits—all free of charge between the hours of noon and 3 p.m. on these special days.

In addition to the typical exhibits, Free First Sundays also include activities the keep the entire clan entertained.
