Launderette Serves Up New American Fare in a Converted Laundromat

Those craving a delicious meal in a retro-inspired space should look no further than the Launderette, which is only three miles from Elan East. Located in a converted laundromat, the restaurant is open for lunch or brunch and dinner daily with an assortment of plates that call on new American influences for inspiration.

Flavors of the past shine through on the menu, too, with plates like potato chips served with pimento cheese, an assortment of curated toasts, chicken thighs, roasted cauliflower, and croque monsieur. On the dessert menu, expect everything from Girl Scout cookies and key lime sundaes to the birthday cake ice cream sandwich.

Launderette serves up a mean happy hour from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. All cocktails, beer, and wine are half-priced during happy hour. Cheers!
