Enjoy a Wonderful Tradition at the Fall 2016 Pecan Street Festival

The Fall 2016 Pecan Street Festival is an event that celebrates and preserves the history and landmark status of Sixth Street. This is one of the oldest events in Central Texas. It raises money for year-round projects to beautify this noteworthy block, formerly named “Pecan Street.” The two-day festival features a strong lineup of live music from local bands. Other entertainment includes street magicians and dance performances. There will be a traditional carnival and petting zoo as well.

Local vendors will be selling all kinds of crafts, including soaps, handmade jewelry, honey, beer growlers, and more. And you can expect the usual fair eats, like turkey legs and funnel cake, alongside fresh fruit smoothies and healthier treats. This twice-yearly event is a must-visit, and it won’t happen again until springtime, so make sure to catch it while you can. The Fall 2016 Pecan Street Festival is happening not far from Folio, so be sure to check it out!
