Gloria’s Latin Cuisine: Tex-Mex Food and Margaritas at The Domain

Nestled in the trendy Domain shopping center in Austin—which looks more like a park than a mall—Gloria's Latin Cuisine brings some south-of-the-border flair to the city. Just about a mile and a half from Folio, this branch of the popular Mexican and Latin fare restaurant promises all the same popular eats and drinks as its sister locations. For most customers, that means black bean dip and sizzling fajitas.

Swing by for dinner to sample some of the contemporary Tex-Mex fare with a margarita (try the fresh guava marg). Start your meal with the classic pupusas, handcrafted tortillas filled with cheese and pork, or the fried plantains with sour cream. Then move onto fajitas stuffed with chicken, pork tenderloin, steak, or a combination of two. You can also dig into a Tex-Mex dish such as the chimichanga or massive burrito—both arrive with chili con queso on the side. Save some room for flan or tres leches cake for dessert.
