Take Part in a Fun-Filled Halloween Event at Trunk-or-Treat at Towne Square Community Center

The night before Halloween, on October 30th, Towne Square Community Center hosts a neighborhood-wide Trunk or Treat, an event that provides a contemporary spin on a classic event. Community members, local groups, and clubs are invited to decorate their cars and stock up on candy for this trunk-or-treating event. Those who would like to decorate their car are encouraged to register online, and registration is free.

Participants should be stocked with 350 pieces of candy, toys, or a combination of both to ensure they have something for everyone at this event. The fun runs from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 30th. Car decorators should arrive around 3 p.m. to ensure that their car is ready for trick-or-treaters at 4 p.m. You won't want to miss this fun event this season!

Formula 1 United States Grand Prix Austin: Don’t Miss This Annual Racing Event

Whether you're a fan of professional racing or a fan of Taylor Swift, you should definitely be at the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix Austin. Held from October 21st to the 23rd at the Circuit of the Americas, this nationally renowned racing event also includes a major concert.

On Sunday evening, Taylor Swift and The Weeknd will bring down the house after a weekend of adrenaline-inducing racing. Watch drivers zip around the curves and corners designed specifically for them at the Circuit of the Americas, an Austin venue that only opened in 2012. You can expect plenty of other forms of entertainment, food, and fun at the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix Austin, so you won't want to miss it. General admission starts at $109.

Enjoy a Wonderful Tradition at the Fall 2016 Pecan Street Festival

The Fall 2016 Pecan Street Festival is an event that celebrates and preserves the history and landmark status of Sixth Street. This is one of the oldest events in Central Texas. It raises money for year-round projects to beautify this noteworthy block, formerly named “Pecan Street.” The two-day festival features a strong lineup of live music from local bands. Other entertainment includes street magicians and dance performances. There will be a traditional carnival and petting zoo as well.

Local vendors will be selling all kinds of crafts, including soaps, handmade jewelry, honey, beer growlers, and more. And you can expect the usual fair eats, like turkey legs and funnel cake, alongside fresh fruit smoothies and healthier treats. This twice-yearly event is a must-visit, and it won’t happen again until springtime, so make sure to catch it while you can. Austin Museum Day: Free Entry to More Than 35 Local Museums

The Austin Toy Museum. The Austin Nature and Science Center. The Texas Music Museum. These are just a handful of the venues participating in this year's Austin Museum Day on Sunday, September 18th. From sunrise to sunset, some of the city's coolest museums welcome guests for free.

The Austin City Limits Music Festival Hosts Mumford & Sons, Kendrick Lamar, and Other Popular Artists This Year

Mumford & Sons. Kendrick Lamar. Radiohead. There will be no shortage of famous faces at this year's Austin City Limits Music Festival, and these headliners are just the tip of the iceberg. Dubbed the "live music capital of the world," Austin is the perfect place to host this ever-growing annual music festival. Bee Cave Coffee: Try the Nitro Cold Brew Java

It's not every day that you find coffee on tap, but Bee Cave Coffee in Austin isn't your typical cafe. It boasts a tap that pours nitrogen-infused cold brew java from Cuvee Coffee. The nitrogen creates a creamier texture without adding the calories that come with milk or creamer, resulting in a decadent treat on a hot Texas day. Pair the frosty java with a sweet treat like the sugar cinnamon roll.

Of course, you can also opt for a hot coffee at Bee Cave Coffee. Although the cafe offers add-ins like Stevia and almond milk, most patrons say they pass on the extras because the black coffee is flavorful enough all on its own. But if you do want to indulge a bit more, opt for something sweet like the white mocha with almond milk or a latte infused with a sweet syrup.
