AT&T Park: Home to Two Standouts in the Local Culinary Scene
June 2, 2015 | sack
San Francisco is known for its spate of dining options, and its MLB field AT&T Park is no exception. The Giants' home turf houses some of the best concessions in all of major league baseball, according to food blog Eater San Francisco. However, these two sit-down restaurants outside the competition:
- Public House. This striking brick edifice remains open even when the Giants are out of town, as well as during their off-season. After all, its 22 TVs can broadcast games from all over the country, not just the ones unfolding inside AT&T Park. Share some pub small plates with friends and be sure to order one of more than 48 craft beers; Public House's brew selection is considered one of the city's best.
- Mijita. Tucked right up against Public House, this taqueria is the sister restaurant to the flagship location at the Ferry Building. It serves the same Mexican fare eats that its founder remembers from her childhood, paired with the sweet-fiery cocktails and pours that come from the tequila bar.
