Nestled in the hillside town of Lafayette in the East Bay, Postino is an American and Italian restaurant filled with charm. With brick walls, slate tile floors, fireplaces and an intimate dining room, you’ll feel like you’re in Italy when dining at Postino.

Yelpers recommend the fritto misto, the Brussels sprouts salad, and the burratta, but tried-and-true favorites like the pork chops, the short ribs, and the lasagna are also equally popular. For dessert, regulars say you shouldn’t go home without trying the chocolate crème pie and the chocolate soufflé cake. Postino also has a large wine, beer, and cocktail menu.

Postino is open Monday to Thursday 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and reopens from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. On Fridays, Postino is open 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and again 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. On Saturdays, Postino is open 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and on Sundays 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
