Vino Restaurant is Lafayette’s best kept secret. Located in historic Lafayette Plaza, Vino serves Italian fare that is delicious and healthy, with no added fat, butter, or commercial sauces. The restaurant is small, intimate, and cozy, with only ten tables inside, and all of the ingredients used are local, fresh, and organic.

Owner Castro will also play the grand piano at the restaurant, filling your ears with beautiful tunes while you eat. The menu at Vino is small, but the dishes are packed full of flavor. Menu favorites include the bruschetta appetizer, the roasted eggplant, and the tuna tartare. Yelpers recommend the chicken alla parmigiana entrée, the penne abruzzese, the flat iron steak, and the paella.

Vino Restaurant is open Wednesday to Saturday 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
