Boca Ballet Theatre: Dance Classes and Performances

Since 1991 the Boca Ballet Theatre has been one of the premier institutions in the area for classical ballet and modern dance training. Over the last 20 years, the Boca Ballet Theatre has educated 5,000 young people in its 12,000 square foot state of the art facility. Each week 500 students including 100 adults take classes in ballet, pointe, jazz, and modern dance.

Training at the Boca Ballet Theatre also involves performing throughout the season. Unlike other ballet schools who use advanced students to teach beginner classes, every class at the Boca Ballet Theatre is taught by a professional dancer. If your son or daughter has a budding interest in dance or if you think dance instruction as a fun, creative hobby for yourself, check out the Boca Ballet Theatre.

Gulfstream Park: By the Sea in Boynton Beach

Florida has no shortage of beachfront real estate, but one of the all-around best places to enjoy the ocean in Boynton Beach is at Gulfstream Park. This 6 acre public park offers a wide range of activities to keep visitors busy. 600 feet of beach frontage is monitored by lifeguards, making it popular for families and swimmers.

Outside of the guarded swimming areas, fishermen and surfers ply their trade on the comfortable waves. There’s also a lot of green space to enjoy, including a picnic area with BBQ grills and a playground for the little ones. One thing to know before you head out is that the parking lot is quite small and it’s a bit of a hike to the beach, so if you don’t show up early enough you might not be able to get a parking spot. Regulars like that the beach is less crowded as a result, though.
