The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Company: Bagels in Boynton Beach, Florida

July 16, 2013 11:29 am

A staple among early risers and lunch enthusiasts for years, Brooklyn Water Bagel may be a bit more expensive than the other guys, but there is a very good reason for that. Brooklyn Water Bagel not only offers some of the best bagels in Boynton Beach, they also roast and brew coffee in house. Here you get fresh, extraordinary bagels in flavors like asiago, marble, rye, pumpernickel, cinnamon raisin, onion, and many more. The flavor attack doesn’t stop there however, as Brooklyn Water Bagel offers an array of bagel spreads. These include traditional cream cheese varieties and even peanut butter and jelly. To go with your bagel what could be better than a steaming cup of coffee? Brooklyn Water Bagel has you covered there as well. Sidle up to the coffee bar and feel free to customize your brew however you see fit. Brooklyn Water Bagel also offers bagel sandwiches for something more substantial.

Panther Ridge Conservation Center: See The Cats

July 9, 2013 1:59 pm

Many people don’t realize that Florida is actually home to a wide variety of large wildcats, many of whom are rapidly finding their habitats decimated by the wave of real estate development that swept through our area over the last few decades. Panther Ridge Conservation Center was established in 1999 to provide a safe haven for big cats rescued from dangerous situations around the country, and now there are over twenty of the majestic animals currently in permanent residence there. Visitors are amazed by the incredible care that the animals are given. The cheetahs, jaguars, leopards and other animals are sheltered in clean, spacious enclosures and fed excellent food, keeping them in the prime of health. A visit here is a spectacular educational experience that far surpasses any zoo – you’ll learn so much about the lives of these animals, the conditions they were rescued from, and their species' futures. Panther Ridge is a fantastic organization and the Panther Ridge Convservation Center is well worth a visit.
