The menu is well-regarded, with breakfast specialties that have diners raving. The East Ocean Standard pairs eggs with your choice of sausage, ham, or bacon and a side of excellent creamy grits. If you have a sweet tooth, the challah French toast is amazing; it's crusted with almonds for a little crunch. For lunch, some of the best options include the delicious pineapple curry chicken salad and the excellent burgers.

The decor is charming, with a modern bistro aesthetic, and seating is comfortable. Prices are very reasonable as well, and service is fast and efficient.

Prime Catch: Waterfront Atmosphere and Mouth-Watering Taste

Excellent Pasta and Pizza Are the Hallmarks of Eddie and Anthony’s

Eddie and Anthony's is a Boynton Beach favorite. The pizzas here are hand-tossed and made with the best fresh ingredients, and the sauce is made fresh every day with ripe, delicious tomatoes. The end result is a pizza pie that’s thin, crisp, and delicious, topped just the way you like it.

Start off with an order of garlic knots, with fragrant garlic and will kick-start your appetite. Some favorite pizza combinations among regular diners include the broccoli rabe with gorgonzola and fresh tomatoes, as well as the hearty meat lover’s pie. If you’re not feeling like pizza, patrons recommend the excellent baked ziti, which will make you feel like you’re in an Italian grandmother’s kitchen, as well as the incredible lasagna. Eddie and Anthony's also offers many special offers throughout the week. On Mondays and Tuesdays, for example, you can get a large cheese pizza for just $7.99.

The Diner: South Florida Breakfast Food

The classic American diner is one of the country’s iconic restaurants, a comfortable, casual space to enjoy reasonably priced food in sizable portions with nothing too fancy. As you might guess from its name, Boynton Beach’s The Diner doesn’t step too far out of that footprint, which is fine by its patrons. Regulars rave about the American classics on offer here. In fact, The Diner is widely recognized as one of the best breakfast deals in town!

Go for an awesome five-egg omelet, which will satiate even the hungriest of diners. Other excellent breakfast options include the eggs with biscuits and gravy and the thick, perfectly crispy Belgian waffles. Chocolate chip pancakes also win raves. For lunch, locals recommend the house-made Angus beef burgers (opt for Cheddar cheese and bacon for a classic meal). Sandwiches are also solid, with the Double Monty a particular favorite.

The Diner is open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Be warned: The wait for a table can get really long, especially on Sunday mornings as the post-church crowd congregates here.

Twirl a Fork Into a Plate of Pasta at Portobella

When you dine at an Italian restaurant, you go in expecting tradition. Portobella delivers that in spades. Opened by Victor Scarpulla in 1987, this place has a quarter-century of serving up awesome food under its belt, and locals are crazy about the pizza and pasta here.

South Florida isn’t really renowned as a pizza region, but the pies at Portobella are New York-style through and through, with a thin, crispy crust just solid enough to support an excellent sauce and your choice of toppings. Some favorite combinations from regular diners include the Caprese and the Portobella house special, but they’re all quite good. For entrees, the chicken parm is well-received, slathered in sauce and cheese. Pasta dishes also come highly recommended, with the linguine alla Vongole a favorite. Some complain that dinner prices can be a little steep, but you certainly get a lot of food for your money!

Located within the Boynton West shopping center, Portobella is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays.

China Dumpling: Traditional Dishes Not to be Missed

China Dumpling doesn’t deliver, and with its rising popularity, there can be a wait, so make a reservation if you have a large party.

Guarapo’s Cuban Cuisine: Sweet and Spicy

Guarapo's Cuban Cuisine has been enlivening Boynton Beach for years now with its authentic plates. Inside recalls a classic family eatery with warm wood booths and nature inspired murals on the wall. The menu falls in line with this earthy theme. At Guarapo's you will find only the best ingredients. Meat lovers can rejoice in a number of preparations, including Lechon Asado, also known as slow roasted suckling pig. Other items include Churrascos steak, fried red snapper, and Arroz con Pollo. Rice: Authentic Thai Fare in Boynton Beach

You'll have a fantastic meal at Rice, a casual Thai restaurant in Boynton Beach. The interior is classically decorated with white table clothes, soft lighting, and colorful artwork. Service is helpful and attentive. Start with a light and refreshing bowl of the cucumber soup or the fresh rice rolls filled with shrimp, rice noodles, and vegetables. Regulars rave all the entrees are delicious and authentic. Try the Spicy Basil Chicken, Kung Pao, and incredible Pad Thai. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options are available. Don't forget a glass of Thai Iced Tea! Prices are very reasonable. Stop by at lunch for even better deals on the specials — an entree, cucumber soup, pad Thai, and coconut rice for $8.95.

Boynton Diner: Famous for Its Breakfast

Though it offers great diner fare throughout the day, Boynton Diner is known especially for one meal: breakfast. New customers quickly become fanatics when faced with brunch options like the Pineapple Upside-Down Pancakes, Peanut Butter and Banana French toast, and Breakfast Sliders. There is also a brunch buffet that has a revolving variety of foods, including breakfast pizza, biscuits and eggs, and nearly everything else imaginable. Portions here are huge, and the dishes are reasonably priced.

Boynton Diner has a lovely outdoor seating area to enjoy the morning sun or the evening air. Those dining later in the day can enjoy a cocktail at the tiki bar and nosh on one of the multiple daily specials that make dining here new and exciting every time. Note that Boynton Diner is cash or check only, and plan accordingly.
