When you walk in the front doors of Pomodoro's Cucina Italiana, you'll be greeted by the fragrant aroma of garlic, basil, and other smells signature to excellent Italian fare. That said, you'll most likely be left with a craving for garlic bread, a fan favorite here. A crusty Italian baguette is slathered with rich, decadent garlic butter, which regulars report is worth the calories. Or start off with the fried mozzarella, which is also very good.

For entrees, the selection is extensive. Regulars rave about the hearty lasagna, which comes in a massive portion that will satisfy even the biggest appetite. Also good is the lobster ravioli with cream sauce and the poached seafood chilled and served on a bed of fresh mixed greens. Leave room for some tiramisu for dessert; you won’t be disappointed.

Space City offers 5,000 square feet of both bouldering and wall climbing, with courses fit for all skill levels. You can buy a day pass or a punchcard, which lets you save money on multiple visits. Butler Longhorn Museum: Home to a Collection for the Record Books

The cattle industry is one of the most vital elements of Texas’s history, and one of the most interesting places to learn about it is at the Butler Longhorn Museum, which once served as the private residence of banker Walter Hall.

The longhorn cattle after which this place are named are iconic beasts of the Texas prairie, with huge horns projecting from their heads, and the Butler Longhorn Museum celebrates their lives in fascinating ways. The museum’s collection of horns is slated to be included in the Guinness Book of World Records as one of the largest in the world. In addition to the horns, the museum boasts many other interesting exhibits. The museum regularly displays artwork from League City-area creative people, and private events are booked in the facility.

The grounds of the museum are also very well maintained, and many visitors just enjoy wandering them on pleasant days.

When Life Gives You Lemons, Use Them to Clean! Here’s How!

Did you know that lemons work as a natural disinfectant, a stain remover, a polish for metals, and so much more? Try these simple cleaning tips using the power of citrus!

  • Scrub your dirty dishes or plastic containers with a recently juiced lemon and a little bit of coarse salt to remove any stains or smells. This also works for wooden cutting boards.
  • Rub some lemon juice on a sponge and leave it in your refrigerator for several hours to remove any odors.
  • Give your microwave a good cleaning by mixing three tablespoons of lemon juice and one and a half cups of water into a microwave-safe bowl. Place the bowl into your microwave and put it on high for five to ten minutes. Then just wipe away any remaining spots with a dishrag.
  • Make your own eco-friendly household cleaner with citrus peels and white vinegar. Simply place citrus peels in a glass mason jar, then pour enough vinegar over top to cover the peels. Let the mixture infuse for two weeks, then strain out the vinegar into a spray bottle!
