Nobi Public House: Craft Beer and Delicious Food in Webster

Beer lovers and foodies come together at Nobi Public House. Over 200 different craft beers are available as well as a nice selection of wine. The beer selection rotates frequently so there is always something new to try. Feel free to ask the knowledgeable wait staff about any of the beers. The food is just as good as the beer. Everything is priced very reasonable. The delicious chicken Bahn Mi sandwich is just $4.50. Most of the meals feature a Vietnamese style grilled meat. The noodle dishes are delicious and filling. The cozy restaurant does fill up quickly, especially during special events. All the food is available for take out. Saltgrass Steakhouse: Top Chops in Webster

Steak is a Texas tradition, with the state’s massive cattle ranches feeding diners at numerous restaurants. And one of the prime places in Webster to get a perfectly-seared cut of meat is Saltgrass Steakhouse. This is an old-school eatery in the best way, with a menu that hasn’t evolved in decades. Don't take this a negative though – tradition is key in restaurants like this. The first Saltgrass Steakhouse opened in Houston alongside the Salt Grass Trail, one of the state’s major cattle byways. When you dine here, you’re enjoying Texas history as well as great food.

Of course, the main attraction here is the perfectly-seared steaks – some favorite offerings include the T-Bone, a massive bone-in 17 ounce steak, as well as their signature center cut filet. Everything is seasoned with a proprietary blend of spices and served with soup, salad, and their Shiner Bock beer bread. Service is top of the line and the ambience is classic steakhouse through and through.

If you’re looking for high-quality fare in the Webster area, locals will point you in the direction of Main St. Bistro. This restaurant, located in historic Old League City, blends a wide variety of influences from classic Texan fare to Creole, Latin American, and even French cuisines. The end result is food that is flavorful and satisfying. The space is small, but the room has great atmosphere and flow, so it doesn’t seem crowded.

Grab a Quick Bite at Antonini’s Subs & Steaks

Antonini's Subs & Steaks serves a variety of Philly-style sandwiches with larger-than-life Texas proportions. When you order a turkey sandwich, for example, you'll get at least a couple of inches of shaved turkey heaped up between the bread. A meatball sub comes packed with oversized meatballs and melted cheese oozing out either end. And since the shop's owner is from the Philly area, you know you can get an authentic Philly cheesesteak at Antonini's. You'll also see evidence of the owner’s heritage in the variety of quality Italian cured meats this shop stocks, and Yelpers say Antonini's salami, pepperoni, and pastrami can't be beat.

There are a few small tables against the walls for diners who want to eat their subs in the restaurant, but this shop mainly runs a thriving take-out business, so feel free to pick up a quick meal on the go.

Outback Steakhouse has made itself into a dominant force in the casual dining space by giving diners what they like. The Webster Outback has plenty of competition in town, but manages to attract diners with great prices and sizable portions.

Start your meal with their signature chocolate martini, a sweet take on a classic drink that wins raves from regulars. Some of the menu’s most popular appetizers include the signature Bloomin’ Onion, a deep-fried vegetable fanned out with dipping sauce in the center, as well as the beer-battered coconut shrimp. The entrees are dominated by grilled meat, and they handle their steaks ably. The menu also has numerous offers for big eaters, including a steak with unlimited shrimp deal. There’s nothing particularly unexpected here, but if you value consistency Outback will do you right.
