Start your day with one of the cafe's Benedict specialties or signature omelets – the Caliente with sausage, veggies and cheese is a big hit, as is the Crab Benedict. The Stone Rose Restaurant: Fresh and Local

More and more people are beginning to appreciate the importance of locally-grown food. Fruits, vegetables, meats and cheeses that are sourced directly from the provider and don’t have to travel across the country are more flavorful and better for you, too. One of Conshohocken’s best dining destinations for locavores is The Stone Rose Restaurant.

Because the offerings vary greatly with the season, the menu can vary widely, but some favorites are the exceptional braised beef short ribs over macaroni and cheese, the soy-glazed wild boar shank with zucchini ribbons and cheddar mash, and the wasabi pea-crusted yellowfin tuna. The bar offers a sterling selection of cocktails as well as draft beer from regional microbreweries.

Creed’s Seafood and Steaks: Surf And Turf

One of the most popular upscale restaurants in the King of Prussia area is Creed’s Seafood and Steaks, which has been serving up exceptional food for years. There’s nothing particularly inventive about the cuisine here – it’s steakhouse favorites, executed well. For appetizers, the fried calamari with spicy remoulade is excellent, as is the artisan cheese board. As you’d expect, the beef is all excellent, with a variety of cuts prepared to perfection. The standout is the incredible 45 day aged New York strip steak, made with certified Angus beef. It’s incredibly tender and flavorful, served with buttered haricots verts, sour cream smashed potatoes and one of their excellent sauces. The seafood menu is also quite robust, with some favorites including the char-grilled fresh fish and the raw bar.  If you’re looking to save some money, visit for lunch and try the Wagyu beef cheesesteak. It’s an incredible update of the Philly classic made with with some of the most tender meat you’ll ever enjoy.

Redstone American Grill: Plymouth Meeting New American Cuisine

Redstone American Grill is a popular Plymouth Meeting dining spot with a well-rounded menu and an ambiance that’s upscale and relaxed at the same time. The menu is gourmet American food, featuring steaks, burgers and seafood and some interesting sides. Starters include Buffalo Jumbo Shrimp, Jerk Chicken Fondue, Crispy Calamari and Artichoke Spinach Dip. The Lodge Cornbread is a favorite, served in a cast iron skillet with maple butter. Seafood entrees feature Pan Seared Sea Bass, Wasabi Crusted Tuna, New York Strip, Prime Rib, Rotisserie Chicken, Barbeque Ribs and Grilled Meatloaf. Several sandwich selections include a Redstone Beef Burger, Turkey Burger, Salmon Burger, Grilled Steak Sandwich and a Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich. Redstone American Grill is open every day.
