Here, brick oven pizzas come in combos like the Sporkie with sweet Italian sausage, ricotta cheese, mozzarella, & tomato sauce, the Bertucci with pepperoni, chunky tomato sauce, & mozzarella, and the Silano with sliced chicken, lemon-pepper marinated broccoli, & mozzarella. Pasta dishes include faves like Four Cheese Ravioli, Spaghetti with Meatballs, Lobster Ravioli, Lasagna Rustica and Baked Tortellini. Filet Mignon with Chianti sauce, Balsamic Chicken, Eggplant Parmesan, Grilled Salmon Filet and Chicken Marsala are also on the menu. Save a spot in your tummy for a slice of Mascarpone Cheesecake, Five Layer Cake or Tiramisu.

Via Roma Pizzeria: Norristown Italian Cuisine

In Norristown, you’re sure to get a great pizza, sandwich, or Italian specialty at Via Roma Pizzeria. Located in a small strip mall on Ridge Pike, Via Roma Pizzeria keeps the tradition of good Italian food in the area alive. If you’re ordering something to take home, the counter staff is very helpful. Or, come in and relax at the bar or in the casual dining room. The wait staff is knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful. For lunch, there is a fantastic selection of salads and sandwiches, including steaks, hoagies, grinders, wraps, and burgers. And anytime, the brick oven produces beautiful pizzas, calzones, or strombolis. Eating alone or on the go? Get a couple of slices! For dinner, try a specialty pie or one of the excellent chicken or veal dishes. You’ll always find some thing tasty at Via Roma, which is open for lunch or dinner, every day of the week.

Via Veneto Pizza & Family Restaurant: The Best Pizza in Norristown

As its name suggests, Via Veneto Pizza & Family Restaurant is the perfect place for a family night out or dinner with a large group of friends. This Italian restaurant serves American-style portions and flavors, so expect heaping helpings and added menu items like burgers and hoagies. The pizza is made either Neopolitan (thin-crust) or the classical Sicilian thick-crust style with a range of toppings that stand out among the range of stromboli and calzone choices. Pasta platters are deep and flavorful, but don’t be surprised if you need to get a box to-go as the portions are seemingly endless. Though the American entrees seem somewhat incongruous on this otherwise all-Italian menu, they are each prepared to reasonable standards.

The Sky is the Limit at Blue Sky Cafe

This eclectic Caribbean eatery is a pleasantly casual destination for anyone in the mood for moderately priced comfort foods or warm-weather drinks. The atmosphere complements the cuisine with a colorful bar area and plenty of chic decorations that keep up the tropical theme without veering into total tackiness. The menu features mostly fried and/or saucy selections, but there are occasional buffets available—ranging from appetizers to full-on barbecue. For the ultimate in comfort food indulgence, try the mac ‘n’ cheese, made with five different cheeses based on a carefully guarded secret recipe.
