Paisano's Restaurant serves a new twist on Italian cuisine in Rutherford. Since 1989, this Park Avenue restaurant has served only the finest Italian food. The menu includes cuisine from Northern and Southern Italy, with some unique pasta dishes you won't find elsewhere. Start with an appetizer like the Stuffed Eggplant , Ginger Calamari , or Tricolor Salad with endive, arugula, radichio, and pancetta. Try delicious pasta dishes like Crabmeat Ravioli with pink vodka sauce, baby shrimps, and spinach or the Fettuccine Mountain and Sea with wild porcini, shitaki mushrooms, and shrimp in a light cream sauce with spinach. Gourmet pizza, entrees, sandwiches, and seafood dishes round out the menu.
The service is friendly and attentive. Prices are a little high but worth it for the high quality meals. Paisano's Restaurant is also BYOB, so bring your favorite bottle of wine.
