That could be thanks to the fact that servers prepare it fresh—extremely fresh. They whip it up right next to your table while you watch. Although it's a bit pricey at $12.50, it comes with Rocco's house-made chips and can be customized to your preferred level of heat.
Don't fill up on the guacamole, though. Rocco's Tacos lives up to its name with an impressive list of tacos, as well as other classic Mexican fare. Try the tacos stuffed with pulled chicken, slow-roasted pork, or spicy ground beef if you like traditional cuisine. For something different, order one of the inventive "street tacos." Your options include the Korean with hoisin barbecue beef and kimchi, the Brooklyn with a medley of pork and chorizo, or the more traditional Mercado with grilled chicken and yellow tomato pico. Rocco's Tacos also serves salads and tortas, enchliadas, and some signature house specialties—not to mention margaritas and other libations.
