Delray Beach Green Market: Fresh and Local at its Best

December 10, 2015 2:33 pm

Every Saturday morning, dozens of vendors gather at Old School Square Park, pitch their tents and offer locals a taste of South Florida. Delray Beach Green Market is a weekly farmers market where shoppers can find locally-grown produce, farm-fresh eggs, raw milk, seafood, meats as well as artisanal baked goods, olive oils, salsas and more. Once you're done with your shopping, you can also stick around and enjoy the free, live music while your children have fun at the playground. Regulars do note that early in the market's season the number of vendors is limited but as the season continues more tents pop up, so if you don't find everything you need in October, be sure to return later in the season.

The Delray Beach Green Market's season lasts from mid-October to mid-May, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Make sure to check their Facebook page for exact dates.
