Tryst is Delray Beach's gastropub. Gourmet bar food is on the menu like artisan cheeses, marinated olives, and pretzel bread sticks. Order some tasty appetizers like the fat vs. fat with confit pork belly and seared foie gras, watermelon salad, spicy vegan pad Thai, ricotta flatbread, and fresh mahi tacos. More than 30 wines are available by the glass as well as an extensive beer selection. Cocktails are also available. The attentive and friendly staff is happy to recommend a wine pairing to go with your meal. Stop by the bar during happy hour, every day from 4 to 7 p.m. for discount appetizers.

J&J Seafood Bar and Grill: A Seafood Lover’s Dream in Delray Beach

Considered by many to be the best restaurant on Atlantic Avenue and even in Delray Beach, J&J Seafood Bar and Grill is a must for locals. The restaurant's dimly lit, warm atmosphere is simply decorated, allowing diners to focus on the ocean fresh seafood rather than their surroundings. J&J serves freshly shucked oysters, seafood chowder and seafood entrees that include clam linguini, nut rusted snapper and grilled grouper. It also offers plenty of options for diners who don't care much for seafood. Land lovers can choose from burgers and steaks while vegetarians have a number of hearty salads from which to choose. The restaurant is very popular so reservations are highly recommended.

J&J is open for lunch and dinner, Tuesdays through Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Vic & Angelo’s: Rustic Italian Cuisine in Delray Beach

Whether you're in the mood for pizza, pasta or a traditional veal dish, Vic & Angelo's can make it happen. The exposed brick and cushy booths create the perfect ambience for a hearty Italian meal. The menu here is substantial and includes antipasti, salads, numerous pasta dishes, a raw bar and various meat, chicken and seafood options. Diners love the garlic bread sprinkled with Parmesan and the cotton candy dessert. Vic & Angelo's however is eager to stand out from the rest and go the extra mile. The restaurant imports New York City water to make its coal fired pizza giving it the unique taste that makes it so special. Service can be slow but many insist the food is worth the wait.

Max’s Harvest: Local, Sustainable Meals

Max's Harvest is serving amazing meals. The Delray Beach restaurant's menu changes each week to use the best, local ingredients from farms in the area. All the meats used are hormone and steroid free. For just $49 you can enjoy a three course meal with an appetizer, small meal, and large meal, or a small meal, large meal, and dessert. The menu does change frequently but you can expect meals like Heritage Pork Belly, Ricotta Gnocchi, Pan Seared Diver Scallops, Crisp Parmesan Risotto Cake, the Farmer's Harvest Salad, and "The" Burger. Stop by on Sundays for a delicious, sustainable brunch with Bloody Marys and Mimosas. A full bar is available. The service is attentive and friendly. Prices are a little high but worth it for the high quality meals. Reservations are recommended.

Tramonti: The Taste of New York in Delray Beach

A slice of New York City's iconic Little Italy has been transplanted to Delray Beach. Tramonti, an offshoot of the famed Angelo's of Mulberry Street, delights diners with its southern Italian cooking. The blue and white awning at Tramonti beckons diners to enter the large, well-appointed space, where diners can sit indoors or enjoy the beautiful weather at an outdoor table. Whether you're in the mood for pasta or steak, Tramonti's extensive menu has plenty of options from which to choose. Regulars love the tricolor and Tramonti salads as well as the gnocchi and lobster dishes. This is one of the more expensive restaurants in Delray Beach but fans insist that it's worth every penny.

When you enter the warmly lit 32 East, you know you're going to have a special evening. Located in Delray Beach's Historic Neighborhood, this critically acclaimed New American bistro serves fresh and innovative dishes complemented by an award-winning wine list. The menu is seasonal and changes daily but it always includes lots of seafood dishes and a pasta appetizer that regulars love. Other dishes have included chilled watermelon soup, oak roasted prosciutto wrapped peach and a Florida lobster pizza. If you're only interested in a drink, enjoy one of their craft cocktails at the bar.

32 East is open Sundays through Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. The restaurant is usually very busy so be sure to book a table in advance.

City Oyster: Artisanal Food in Delray Beach

City Oyster, located on Delray Beach's bustling Atlantic Avenue, is a great place to enjoy fresh and interesting seafood dishes. The restaurant might remind you of a private club with its traditional oak wood floors and tin ceilings, but there's nothing stuffy about this place. The extensive menu includes oyster house staples such as oysters on the half shell and crudo, but that's not all the restaurant has to offer. The City Oyster menu has an international flair. You can enjoy fresh sushi at the sushi bar or try the salmon with pico de gallo, guacamole, black beans and rice. Diners also love the fish tacos. Dada: Delicious Meals in Delray Beach

Dada serves up excellent meals in Delray Beach. The restaurant is filled with multiple rooms, each decorated in a slightly different style. No matter where you sit, you'll enjoying a welcoming experience. Start with an order of the bacon wrapped dates or grilled brie served with French bread, fresh fruit, and honey garlic butter. Order one of the delicious mojitos as you look over the menu. Wine is also available. Regulars rave about the Butternut Squash Ravioli served with asparagus, artichokes, and tomatoes. A nice selection of entrees are available like Crab Cakes, Flat Iron Steak, Braised Short Ribs, Caramel Spiced Chicken, and Vegetarian Flatbread. A nice outdoor seating area is available as well. Check out Dada's regularly held events like live music and outdoor movies. Reservations are recommended.
