Making Maintenance Easier

October 17, 2013 11:01 am

In California, apartment communities over 15 units must have an on-site manager. So if the pipes leak it’s no problem to let the plumber in. But what about smaller properties?

Castle secures keys in lockboxes to help trusted vendors do their work. The box might be hidden away on the back of a cooling unit; to the casual observer it’s simply a metal square. The vendor enters the combination, removes the key, and replaces it when finished.

These vendors have earned our trust, of course, and just to be safe we change the combinations every two years. Leaving keys for them makes routine maintenance easier and saves time in case of emergency.

An efficiency that benefits everyone. That’s our business.
