Since opening in 2011, Akashi Sushi has been serving sushi and more to Kingwood area residents. Sushi lovers will appreciate the restaurant’s lengthy sushi menu. You'll find all the standard sushi rolls, of course, but you'll also find signature rolls like Japanese Lasagna, which mixes crab meat with avocado, then tops it with a baked layer of cream cheese and house-made mayo. Or try the crispy Las Vegas roll with chopped salmon and tuna, bell pepper, green onion, jalapeno, honey wasabi, strawberry, and eel sauce.

Once you've decided what flavors you want to combine, just send your request to the kitchen where it will be made and promptly sent out to your table. Akashi also includes many other menu items for diners who prefer cooked food, too. Sweet sesame chicken is always a favorite, as is the spicy salt and pepper shrimp, stir fried with garlic, ginger, and plenty of fresh black pepper.
