In the Humble area, 838 Sushi is the place to be for tasty Japanese. Not only does it cover the basics, but it offers a nice selection of unique meals. The reasonably priced bento box lunch specials come with soup, salad, an appetizer and California roll. Main meat choices include typical teriyaki as well as options like Nagano Duck, a duck breast marinated in Cognac-shoyu sauce, and grills miso seabass. If you come for the sushi rolls, the 1960 and 838 specialty rolls are customer favorites. The 1960 wraps crispy shrimp tempura, snow crab, avocado, asparagus and more in a soy paper. If raw isn’t your favorite, 838 offers more than just sushi. There is a full menu of other Japanese entrees like Udon and tempura. The restaurant is always clean and tasteful Asian decor makes it an inviting space to enjoy a relaxed meal with friends. Come by during their all day happy hour from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. and enjoy $3 rolls and $1 sushi.
