Dada: Delicious Meals in Delray Beach

Dada serves up excellent meals in Delray Beach. The restaurant is filled with multiple rooms, each decorated in a slightly different style. No matter where you sit, you'll enjoying a welcoming experience. Start with an order of the bacon wrapped dates or grilled brie served with French bread, fresh fruit, and honey garlic butter. Order one of the delicious mojitos as you look over the menu. Wine is also available. Regulars rave about the Butternut Squash Ravioli served with asparagus, artichokes, and tomatoes. A nice selection of entrees are available like Crab Cakes, Flat Iron Steak, Braised Short Ribs, Caramel Spiced Chicken, and Vegetarian Flatbread. A nice outdoor seating area is available as well. Check out Dada's regularly held events like live music and outdoor movies. Reservations are recommended.

Tryst: Delray Beach New American Cuisine

Inspired by old world pubs, Tryst is a fun bar in Delray Beach that serves good comfort food. With warmly paneled walls and amber lighting, the dining room of Tryst has a welcoming feel. Upon entering, you'll immediately sense that this cheery pub exudes friendliness. You'll appreciate the select half bottles of wine here, mixed drinks, and the micro-brewed beers. As for the food, it's best described as New American cuisine. Get your carb fix with the warm, pretzel bread, or try the artisan cheese plate with a beer. A house specialty is the meat loaf with creamy mashed potatoes, but you prefer the pan seared scallops or grilled chicken. And the mac and cheese is guaranteed to never disappoint. Enjoy a lunch, dinner, or drink and late bite at Tryst, a great spot in Delray Beach.

Due South Brewing: Craft Brewing Done Right

Everyone is doing craft beer these days but very few breweries stand out like Due South Brewing. In addition to the standard beer flavors Due South goes out on a limb by incorporating such sweet tastes as chocolate and vanilla into its delicious recipes. One such beer is inspired by a popular chocolate candy and is features hints of caramel and chocolate goodness. Honey vanilla wheat is a refreshing, low key way to enjoy Due South, while the Scotch ale has a more substantial taste. Due South even includes a taproom where you can enjoy its fabulous selection of beer while taking in a game on the big screen. Unfortunately food isn't available, but you are provided with a list of nearby eateries and bringing outside items to the taproom is perfectly fine. Happy hour is from four to six where all Due South beers are a dollar off.

Six Tables: Cozy Fine Dining

Six Tables in Boca Raton has a clever conceit: a great restaurant, with just six tables. The small space — it seats a maximum of 24! — makes for a cozy and intimate fine dining experience. Like many fine restaurants, Six Tables calls for dressy attire. And the food? Six Tables features a four course prix fixe menu, for just $75 per person (excluding drinks and tips). Some recent dishes include Duck L'Orange, Bison Ribeye, and Chilean Sea Bass. On any given night, you'll have a choice between three entrees. With such a small interior, service is what you'd expect: attentive and helpful. Six Tables is a great destination for a romantic evening or a celebration with a small group of friends.

Panther Ridge Conservation Center: See The Cats

Many people don’t realize that Florida is actually home to a wide variety of large wildcats, many of whom are rapidly finding their habitats decimated by the wave of real estate development that swept through our area over the last few decades. Panther Ridge Conservation Center was established in 1999 to provide a safe haven for big cats rescued from dangerous situations around the country, and now there are over twenty of the majestic animals currently in permanent residence there. Visitors are amazed by the incredible care that the animals are given. The cheetahs, jaguars, leopards and other animals are sheltered in clean, spacious enclosures and fed excellent food, keeping them in the prime of health. A visit here is a spectacular educational experience that far surpasses any zoo – you’ll learn so much about the lives of these animals, the conditions they were rescued from, and their species' futures. Panther Ridge is a fantastic organization and the Panther Ridge Convservation Center is well worth a visit.
