Quietly nestled next to a furniture store in Humble, Tipico Cafe serves first rate Latin American food in a spot near Harbor Cove. The small, elegant space welcomes you with simple wooden furniture and ample lighting from the vast windows.

It is the food however that consistently pleases diners. For starters, try the Tipico Tropical Stack — a much-loved stack of avocado, lump crab meat and mango salsa. For an entree, you might want to try the Arroz Con Gandules Y Pernil — slow roasted pork served with seasoned rice and pigeon peas. Diners suggest that you leave room for dessert. Try one of the favorites like the tres leches or the flan. The restaurant is also BYOB, so feel free to bring a bottle.

Tipico Cafe is open Sundays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
